Baillie Arseneau

Baillie Arseneau

Baillie Arseneau, originally from Homeville Cape Breton, is a Halifax-based artist. Baillie has been painting since the early age of eight and was taught by Cape Breton Savant Marie Moore for ten years. Baillie has won multiple awards for her artwork; one such noteworthy accomplishment would be creating the design for a coin to commemorate the anniversary of the Gulf War. Brianne Casey

Brianne Casey

📍 St.Catharines, ON, CA

After taking a 4 year hiatus and moving cross country, I have decided to pursue the arts once again and beyond excited to get back to the canvas! I am participating in markets, selling artwork and taking on commissions. My style is a balance between a story book fairy tale with realistic aspects and dramatic lighting.
Ellie parr

Ellie parr

Ellie loves painting Nova Scotia landscapes, typically working in oil. She has competed in two Halifax Art Battles at The Marquee and in the Nova Scotia Art Battle Championship, and she’d be thrilled to take part in this event again.
Evangelina Cecchetto

Evangelina Cecchetto

I am a local student artist who loves drawing and painting. I use multi-media, primarily oil paint, but also charcoal, wax crayons, and water or alcohol-based markers. The main subjects of my recent paintings have been nightlife, and the colours seen in those scenes. I aim to create visually exciting compostions, using darkness to contrast the extra vibrant colours of the neon lights of clubs. I also love the human figure, and often practice live figure drawing.
Gabriela Warlet

Gabriela Warlet

Gabriela Warlet besides being a local music artist from the Rap community, is also a visual artist by the brand name Bottle of White Roses with a mixed media experience. Wether painting, drawing digitally, drawing traditionally, customizing clothes or sculpting, she tries to express all of her feelings and thoughts about the world around her through self-made visual representation. Her style has soft elements mixed with surrealism and horror and a lot of influence from all sorts of inspiration - from anime all the way to Dali
Kelly Bingham.

Kelly Bingham.

Kelly is a creative soul—performer, actor, photographer, designer, and painter. He also flips homes and consults for businesses, a true dabbler at heart. Driven by the beauty around him and the urge to create, he’s visual through and through. Where art meets performance, that’s his jam.
Kim Baltzer

Kim Baltzer

l am an early childhood educator with a passion for art that l continue to explore as a side practice. l received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from NSCAD in 2004, where l majored in textiles. Over the years my focus gradually shifted toward illustration and painting, while still carrying influences from my background in textile work - like fibrework, layers of media is important in my creative expression and style. My work centers around charcoal and mixed media, which allows me to experiment with varied and chaotic mark making. My sources of inspiration are Käthe Kollwitz, Angela Edwards, and Damian Goidich, amongst many other charcoal artists.
Raiana Garaeva

Raiana Garaeva

Raiana participated in Art Battle for many years and was elected to paint at the Art Battle Nova Scotia Championship in 2024 and 2025. She creates nature and animal paintings and enjoys sketching. She has volunteered with Theatre Arts Guild and has over ten years of experience working in documentary and fiction film production as a logger.
Ryan Larose

Ryan Larose

Ryan is a lifelong artist who draws inspiration from the most random places. He loves working in black and white as much as in bold, whacky colors. His style is emotional and defined by chaotic brushstrokes—an emotional alchemist turning instinct into expression. He has competed in Art Battle since 2023, reaching the Nova Scotia finals in both 2023 and 2024.
