Deborah J Janelle
Deborah’s been making art and painting since she was 9 and will paint on just about anything—guitars, vans, walls… you get the idea. She’s never been in a competition before, but this felt like it could be a blast. Her friends suggested she go for it, and they’ll be there at the battle cheering her on the whole way.
Desi is a local artist from Dover, Delaware, who studied at Delaware State University and recently returned to art after a 10-year break. She works with water-based oil paints and is exploring oil pastels as part of her creative journey. Grateful to be back in the art world, Desi finds joy and purpose in creating again, giving thanks to God for the renewed inspiration.
Eric is a self-taught acrylic artist who’s been painting for about six years. Back in 2020, when the world shut down during COVID, he got tired of the endless doom scrolling and decided to pick up a paintbrush and explore his artistic side—and he hasn’t been able to put it down since. He loves expressing himself through his work and bringing joy to others through art. He doesn’t stick to one specific style—he just loves to create.
Jordan has been making art her whole life, starting with sketching and later teaching painting classes. She found her true spark in the metaphysical world, blending her art with intuitive card readings to create her own healing tools and decks. She’s designed multiple decks so far and has plenty more in mind, believing art can reach people in ways words can’t.
I am an acrylic artist that uses bold bright colors in my works. I spent 4 years in military, am a retired deputy sheriff, was a full time mom and now a bad ass artist!
I’m an acrylic painter working on canvas, blending abstract elements with realism. I’ve been painting seriously since my teenage years, though I’ve loved art ever since I was a small child. My inspiration comes from my own experiences with anxiety and depression, using painting as a form of relief. Each piece is not only a personal release but also an invitation for others to connect with the emotion behind it.
