Entreprenure, Engineer, Horticulturist, Artist, and athlete recently discovering I was switched at birth so I am investigating the efficiencies of comfort with an artistic fashion in My search for family. I am also preparing a cariculum to teach the interconnected value in the subject areas including chemistry, physics, and astronomy.

From painting, sketching, and murals to pottery, charcoal drawing, and clay charm making, she continues to explore new ways to express her artistic vision. Known for her vibrant, “feel-good” style, Hardi’s work spreads joy and positivity, offering visual treats that uplift the spirit and brighten communities.

Josiane discovered her artistic talent a few years ago and has loved creating ever since. She’s excited to share her work and participate in the contest, looking forward to the experience and connecting with fellow artists.

Laura Perreault of Inspired by Life Art Studio is an Ottawa artist painting interpretive landscapes that blend place and emotion. Inspired by kayak outings and local wanderings, her art celebrates everyday beauty. At Art Battle, Laura thrives on the energy of creating in the moment and, most of all, the sense of connection—whether with fellow artists, the crowd, or Ottawa’s close-knit creative community that gathers again and again at events across the city.
Olya Birsa
Olya is an artist born in Moldova and based in Canada since 2009, specializing in textured wall art that brings warmth and character to any space. Her work combines visual and tactile elements, inviting viewers to connect with her pieces on a deeper level. In addition to exhibiting her work at the Candy Art Exhibition and workshops at the Ottawa Art Gallery, Olya actively teaches textured art classes, helping others explore their creativity and develop their own artistic voice.
