I feel very honoured to be invited to participate in this, second, special Art Battle event at the War Museum.
I hope to make my wonderful AND faithful supporters proud!
To that end, I have been putting a lot of thought into my choice of theme and genre.
I have seen "Outside The Lines" twice, and have been as impressed, as I was moved.
The theme of war is, sadly; as constant and relevant now, as it was to the generations of artists before us.
It is impossible, in twenty minutes; to create a work even close to being as worthy as those I have seen in the exhibit, but I will strive to create something of substance.
To honour these talented and progressive Canadian women, who unflinchingly recored the loss, and devastation, wrought by the conflicts of their own times.
