Alexandra Levina
Alexandra is thrilled to join this Art Battle as a personal challenge, pushing beyond her comfort zone to create from pure energy and emotion. She explores diverse techniques to express ideas and teaches children and adults, guiding them to discover the joy of creativity. For her, this event is both a challenge and a chance to share passion and connect through live art.
Blanc Phase (pronounced Blank Phase) is a 25-year-old Māori artist based in Auckland, originally from Hawke’s Bay. His journey spans music, fashion, poetry, dance, and painting. Constantly evolving, his style reflects a work in progress—shaped by many influences and driven by the hope of inspiring others. He expresses himself through art, poetry, and performance.
Orion is an Auckland-based artist passionate about figurative and fantastical themes. He draws inspiration from live drawing groups and models across the city. As a character illustrator and sculptor, Orion channels imagination into vivid creations that explore both the real and the otherworldly.
Ruth began her artistic journey ten years ago teaching art in Scottish prisons, believing creativity offers expression beyond words, even in the toughest times. She experiments with many mediums and shares her skills with both children and the wider community. Six months ago, she opened her first studio in Epsom, where she continues to explore her own style while helping others discover theirs—finding joy in every moment of creation.
Sam is an artist drawn to creativity since childhood, finding fulfillment in exploring ever-changing styles. His recent exhibition focused on portraits, but he is now embracing landscapes and plein air painting. A recovering perfectionist, he values the process as much as the result. Sam’s current project, Caught By The Dawn, brings together art, clothing, and lessons—an evolving brand that invites others to join his creative journey.
Taz is a 20-year-old artist from South Africa who has been painting since the age of six. A 2024 Art Battle Grand Finalist, she is a traditional artist working with acrylic and oil on canvas. Alongside her painting, she also practices as a tattoo artist, channeling her creativity into multiple forms of expression.
Valentina has been drawing since the age of three and, after a long creative hiatus, continues to seek beauty in the world around her. She believes that flaws make beauty unique and inimitable. Through her paintings, she channels her thoughts, desires, and love, creating works imbued with joy and vitality. Valentina sees her mission as sharing joy and love for life, inspiring others through her art.
Valerie puts pen or brush to paper daily, inspired by everything around her—especially color. With a background in Interior Design, she considers color theory her forte, though she values the simplicity of classic black. Believing everyone conveys a unique color aura, hers shines purple and gold. Valerie is an artist, mother, and cosmophiliac, sharing her vibrant vision with the world.
Yasmin began painting at fifteen, and art has remained inseparable from her life ever since. Her journey has explored the human form, animals, and faces, drawn to their emotional depth and expression. Recently, she has embraced abstraction, finding freedom in color, movement, and intuition. Bold, bright colors are central to her work, reflecting her energy and love for vibrancy. Currently completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Elam, she continues to experiment, challenge herself, and fully immerse in art.
World champion bodypaint artist and Season 2 crowd favourite Yolanda is back! Yolanda transitions her body art styles and make-overs in her static canvas work, embracing the commercial tools and her experience with bodypainting, special Fx, props, murals, sculpting and make up.
