I am Amya Meshelle - a 24 year old LGBTQ Multidisciplinary Visual Artist and Creative born & raised in inner city Brockton MA. My work is inspired by emotional themes such as girlhood, coming of age, mental health, and the complexities of human experience. In my practice I create using different mediums such as oil paint, acrylic, watercolor, stamp making, graphic design, and mixed media work. As a biracial, queer, and disabled artist, I've navigated challenges with mental health and identity, finding in art a powerful outlet for self-expression. My creative process serves as a vessel for processing profound emotions and building bridges to connect with myself and others.
