From the artist:

I came to Canada in 2019. Like any immigrant, the key item on the agenda was settling myself.
The God given passion to become a Gospel Actress kept burning, so my desire to go back to school got serious.

4th April 2022, after admission to Toronto Film School for a Diploma in Acting for Film, T.V and Theatre I started school . I thank the Canadian Government for the OSAP Funding.
It was an 18 months Diploma.
While life was fine in the beginning with previous savings, by June 2023, I was all bones.
Did I look for work ? Yes I did . But the more applications I filled, the less I got replies.
I relied on food banks for survival. A loaf of bread had to go for two weeks.
June 26th 2023, I could hardly move, my feet were swollen
My mother reached out to my brother - Herman who got me from Toronto on Barrie.
However on our way , I couldn't breath well. He took me to a health centre for an ECG examination
What Doctor Anne saw was a improper blood circulation around the heart. But I had prayed that I would never die young. That has always been my prayer.
Isaiah 54:17 No Weapon formed against me shall prosper and every lying tongue is wrong.
Another Bible verse- Psalms 23 had become my daily bread.
By graduation November 17th 2023, Herman had fed me well and I was doing very very fine..Though am still on medication.
Right now( 2024) am pursuing a Bachelor's of Creative Arts degree from YorkVille University and my passion is using Art to explain the ordeal.

Truth be told: Hunger like War is a Scare.

As of 2024, according to the Food and Agricultural Organization, 828 Million people go to bed hungry every night.
60% of those are women and 40% are children.

Sehafo( Safe Hands for Zero Hunger) art seeks to bring hunger to the limelight.

Iam a Woman of Faith for a New World.
From the late Michael Jackson in the famine of 1985s " The Song we are the World" - by feeding the hungry we are saving our own . Hunger affects our lives in so many ways.
According to research in Columbia University ( New York) done in 2017, evidence from human famines and animal studies suggests that starvation affects health of descendants of famished individuals.

The Solution: Good Seeds Will Rise.

Within our homes, we can sow seeds of cautiousness.
By putting only what is enough for our children.
Why order the hugest birthday cake when you have a handful of guests for our children's birthday?
Why beat our neighbour for picking the leftovers from our gardens after we have harvested all we need?

Through research, we can each find affordable food preservation mechanisms.
A.I is here and food scientists should do engage such tools to engage lives.
all levels in our communities, each can do something.
From preserving food longer using modern technologies like A.l to reducing food wastage in our homes
By giving our children an extra apple for a child who barely eats nothing at break or lunch time.
Together we can make Hunger history in the World.

Heart to heart. It doesn't matter whether your child or relative or spouse chooses a different field of choice, just give them something to eat.

The strongest wall is the discipline of one's heart as the saying goes.

Mathew 25:35-40 For I was hungry and you gave me to eat. Thirsty and you gave me a drink. Sick and you took care of me. Naked and you clothed me. In Prison and you visited me..Now enter into the Kingdom of my Father......( Please,Refer to the Bible)

How many will miss God's Kingdom because of closing doors on the hungry?
