Christopher Vidal
Instagram: artistchristophervidal
Chris Vidal is a contemporary realist artist living in Sydney, Australia. His interest in the arts started at a very young age. He taught himself how to paint in oil because he was interested in oil painting. He eventually gave up his longtime job to pursue a career as a professional artist. His most recent paintings are a variety of still life and travel-inspired depictions of the Australian landscape.
As an artist, my work is all about connecting people with the beauty and mystery of the natural world. Whether I’m painting vast landscapes, quiet still lifes, or expressive skies, I always aim to create something that brings a sense of peace, reflection, or wonder into people’s lives.
Tonight’s challenge is a bit different—creating something meaningful in such a short amount of time, under the watchful eyes of all of you! But I embrace it fully. It’s a rare and wonderful opportunity to share not just the finished work, but the raw, honest process of creation itself.
Thank you for your energy, your presence, and your support. Let’s make this a memorable night filled with creativity and inspiration!
James Kara
Instagram: jameskara.studio
James works in film and TV designing sets and props, but when he’s not on set, he’s in the studio making a beautiful mess. He's always wanted to be a designer of some variety and art is always a big part of that. His inspiration comes from the streets of Sydney’s Inner West and the raw, rebellious energy of growing up there in the '90s. His paintings can feel like scenes from a film, carefully framed and cinematic.
My artistic journey has been an ever-evolving part of my life. I probably jump around styles and mediums depending on my surroundings and the people around me, but always thinking about how to put parts of myself or history into it. That's mostly where I get my inspiration from and I love that I'll find more inspiring artists at the Art Battle!

Hi, I’m Vikash — a fashion visual designer who lives and breathes fashion, beauty, and art.
Playing with color and texture is not just my job; it’s my passion. Whether I’m designing fashion content or painting on canvas, I find joy in the balance, the boldness, and the beauty of expression.
My work is fearless, romantic, and unapologetically bold. I treat my paintings like a fashion palette—layering colors, shapes, and textures to bring emotions to life. Every piece I create is a celebration of freedom, beauty, and experimentation.
One of my deepest inspirations has always been my muse, Aishwarya Rai(former miss world and Bollywood legend) Since childhood, I’ve been captivated by her grace and presence—and I’ve painted over 100 portraits of her. To me, she embodies timeless beauty.
I don’t limit myself to any one medium. While I’m currently in love with oil painting, I’ve explored and enjoyed everything from digital to mixed media. For me, the medium depends on the moment and the muse.
In my professional work, I create digital fashion content every day—from styling, trend forecasting, and designing newsletters to storytelling through fabrics, nature, and photography. I aspire to weave beauty into all of my creations
