In this, Sowl combines elements abstract art, illustration-realism, manga, history, western and eastern calligraphy, graffiti and nature.

With a background in both realism and abstraction, her work embodies hyper detailed psychedelic abstractions with a cubist touch (mostly facial organs) that represent emotional states and the energy of the room.

Monkyi (formerly fpmonkey) is a Chinese Canadian muralist and visual artist from Toronto, with years of experience living and creating abroad. As a natural explorer and inspired by all ranges of life, Monkyi’s expressions are richly diverse and are anthropological in nature, exploring different concepts, connections and perspectives. Monkyi enjoys creating intuitively with a focus on linework and bold colors, and often falls into the styles of surrealism and lowbrow art.
