After migrating to Australia, she has yet to enter any competitions but continues to practice drawing in her free time. Daphne works with a variety of mediums, including pencil, colored pencils, watercolor, marker pens, and mixed media.

Bradley Dengate

Bradley Dengate, aka M@JESTO, is a Sydney-based street artist known for bold linework, vibrant colors, and themes of futurism, mechanics, cartoons, and surf culture. He works with the Kent Urban Marker Branding campaign, collaborated with Campbelltown City Council on sustainability artwork, and coordinates art in the disability sector. His practice includes design, drawing, painting, and stenciling.

Audrey Briel

Audrey became a full-time artist later in life, using art as a healing practice for her mental health challenges. She is currently a first-year full-time art student at the National Art School in Darlinghurst, Sydney, embracing this new chapter by taking a chance on herself. Audrey believes deeply in the healing power of art and works primarily with drawing, acrylic painting, printmaking, and photography. For her, creating art is both a personal journey and a source of renewal.

I have come to being a full-time artist late in life as a healing practice for mental health challenges (depression and anxiety) - so this is me putting myself out there and taking a chance. I am a first-year full-time art student at the National Art School in Darlinghurst, Sydney. I believe that art has healing powers. His work blends the cultural richness of his homeland with the coastal beauty of Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, using watercolors, ink, acrylic, and drawing. Relying on contrast, texture, and intuition due to his color blindness, Gaule’s art is vibrant, detailed, and deeply personal, reflecting his journey of belonging and connection to place.

I’m a colour-blind, self-taught artist originally from Nepal, now based on beautiful Awabakal Country (Newcastle). You’d think being colour-blind might hold me back — but it turns out it just makes my art more interesting… or unpredictable… sometimes both!
