Artists can apply to compete. Also, most events have a ‘Wildcard’ easel, where artists leave their names at the door and we draw at random to pick the Wildcard Artist. To be a potential wildcard artist, just buy a ticket and show up!

Stewart is a children's book illustrator and professional stage artist who has been painting since childhood. He loves bringing new beauty to everyday scenery that people often take for granted in his town, city, or state. Stewart frequently works with acrylic and oil paints, as well as creating illustrations and charcoal sketches.

Murdokx is a traveling artist who creates his art in one sitting. He specializes in observation drawing, digital painting, and color theory. His personal project, The Adventures of Kit, follows a red rabbit with magical items exploring the world of Xela, inspired by his dream of traveling the globe.

Anika Sage is an oil painter and visual artist based in Minneapolis. She has a deep interest in figurative painting and representations of the animal kingdom, particularly exploring how the two intersect and influence each other. Her skill set includes working in various mediums, traditional drawing, digital art, film photography, and some 3-D work.

Willard, an enrolled member of the Standing Rock Tribe, says his art is shaped by his Indigenous heritage, street art, and tattooing. He owns Iktomi Tattoo and founded Art Shelf, a non-profit that provides free materials and space for creators.
