Join us in Seattle for the 2023 Season Opener!

Assemble your squad and get ready for a night of epic creativity!

Watch as talented artists battle it out in three rounds of 20-minute masterpieces, all created with open materials.

The pieces will be auctioned off and the crowd will crown the ultimate champion of the night!

Be a part of the fun as a spectator, or participate as one of the featured artists by applying online at artbattle.com/artists!

Art Battle Seattle is a 21+ event.




Artists can apply to compete. Also, most events have a ‘Wildcard’ easel, where artists leave their names at the door and we draw at random to pick the Wildcard Artist. To be a potential wildcard artist, just buy a ticket and show up!

Rodney is the owner of Kingspen, LLC and his goal is to create dope images celebrating all things that are great about black culture. He generally focuses on hip hop, jazz and basketball with his calling card being the presence of color in all his pieces./sf

Rochelle is an award-winning face and body painter and ran a group of face-painters for about 18 years. She started painting on canvas in 2017 largely to try something new and as an outlet for stress. She loves the excitement of painting in public./sf

Son of a Gun

Son of a Gun progressed his career to the action sports industry working on graphics for snowboards, wakeboards and vehicle wraps. Now he does murals for record stores and restaurants and sign displays at Trader Joe’s./sf

Francis got his start in drawing at a very young age when he saw his first Anime. He was already drawing realism at the age of 10 and continued to evolve as he practiced and studied the greats. He specializes in drawing, painting, graphic design, and tattooing. /sf

John Gillespie Jr

John is a local Seattle artist who promotes anti-bullying and anti-violence through art and calls it "Smash the Hate". Most of his experience is in pencil drawings and he specializes in portraits. In addition to those, John also works with sculpting, calligraphy, wood carving and wood burning./sf
