Christopher Sayles ( Sadface Creations)
Christopher is an independent, natural‑born artist who works across all mediums. He’s known for creating original pieces, with three successful art events, public murals, and contributions to the Make‑A‑Wish Foundation shaping his creative path.
Duke Williams
Duke returns to the Art Battle scene after competing in multiple events over the past few years. He uses art therapy to express how he sees the world, exploring different mediums with a focus on painting and inking. His work leans into dank abstract expressionism, often using either the absence of color or heavy, bold tones to shape his designs.
Emily Loux
Emily loves painting and wood‑burning, using art as a way to communicate and connect. She focuses on acrylic and wood but enjoys exploring other mediums. Inspired by nature, she teaches and encourages others to be creative. While she experiments widely, acrylic is her go‑to, and she’s always excited to learn new techniques.
Isis Azul Garduño-Macias
I, Azul Garduño am Mexican-American artist based in Omaha, Nebraska, whose work explores the intersection of beauty, grief, resilience, and cultural identity. Drawing inspiration from her Mexican heritage, personal experiences, and the emotional symbolism found in everyday life, she creates mixed-media and acrylic works that blend figurative elements with abstraction and surrealism.
Through layered textures, symbolism, and intuitive mark-making, I am inspired by themes of love, loss, transformation, and the enduring strength of the human spirit. Her paintings invite viewers to look beyond the surface and connect with the stories, memories, and emotions hidden within each piece.
As a self-driven artist, I am committed to creating work that sparks conversation, fosters connection, and reminds others that even life's most difficult experiences can be transformed into something meaningful and beautiful.

Nicole Hansen
I’ve been making art as long as I can remember, ~20 yrs. I’ve explored with all kinds of mediums but painting and photography are my favorites. I’m pushing myself to try something new related to my interests. I’ve never done any shows or events like this.

Sarah Weatherly
Hi, I'm Sarah Weatherly, a Lincoln-based visual artist returning to art after earning my visual art degree in 2012 and stepping away for several years. My foundation is detailed graphite pencil work, often focused on figures, form, shadow, and quiet emotion.
Recently, I've begun exploring watercolor and mixed media as I move from drawing what I see into expressing more of what I feel. My work is drawn to beauty, nostalgia, femininity, restraint, and the tension between being seen and staying quiet. I want viewers to pause with a piece, feel something personal, and maybe recognize a memory of their own.

Valencia
North Omaha native Valencia , a 27-year-old self-taught acrylic artist who has been refining her craft since childhood. Her portfolio features a dynamic mix of abstract concepts, animated portraits, and cartoony paintings, all driven by a vibrant, natural talent. Making her exhibition debut at this show, Valencia is embracing the risk of sharing her work publicly and stepping past the fear of criticism. She is excited to connect with the local arts community and showcase her unique visual stories."
Valerie Richardson
I’m a lifelong artist, dabbling in various mediums over the years and experimenting with different styles and techniques. I’ve been personal assistant to other artists and collaborated on works that sit in Botanica Wichita. While I don’t like to box myself into one style you will see certain elements remain unchanged throughout bodies of work.
