Artists can apply to compete. Also, most events have a ‘Wildcard’ easel, where artists leave their names at the door and we draw at random to pick the Wildcard Artist. To be a potential wildcard artist, just buy a ticket and show up!

Jenny, an elementary art teacher for grades K-4, delights in inspiring others to explore their creativity. Her artistic pursuits span painting, ceramics, metalsmithing, and printmaking, drawing inspiration from light and emotions. Jenny consistently reminds her students that in art, there are no mistakes, only opportunities to explore and grow.

Sira has returned! She identifies as a versatile artist, primarily working with acrylic paints but also expressing herself through drawing, poetry, rap, and singing.

Renee Moore

Renee is passionate about creativity, from painting and drawing to photography and gardening. She focuses on detailed botanicals, portraits, and landscapes, while exploring abstract influences. Her favorite projects include illustrating a children's book and creating commissioned work for friends and family.
I am looking forward to my second time participating in Art Battle Pawtucket.

Keith won a First Place blue ribbon in second grade for a ripped construction paper piece, sparking a lifelong passion for drawing. His favorite subjects, in order, are portraiture, architecture, landscapes, animals, and entertainment. His work blends realistic detail with spontaneity, a style he describes as "loosely tight."
Such a pleasure to be chosen as a participant rather than a 2 time spectator at this event! Have found to be fun and practical...fun because of the nature of the creative competition, and practical to not only see the talents of fellow local artists, but also as a networking event to procure future projects and commissions.

Erik has been making art for most of his life, evolving from simple doodles in grade school notebooks to vibrant, eye-catching images that leap off the canvas. He takes pride in his ongoing artistic growth and constantly seeks creative opportunities wherever he can.
