Through his work, he ventures into the realm of the unknown, crafting new worlds and forms. Drawing from his inner visions and imagination, Sean creates compositions that challenge perception and provoke contemplation. Each piece is a departure from the ordinary. In this way, he strives to ignite a sense of curiosity and liberation, reminding viewers that the boundaries of creativity do not exist.

Nick, an accomplished artist based in Reno, Nevada, explores various styles including abstract, portraiture, impressionism, and expressionism. His preferred mediums encompass oil paints, pastels, and spray paints. Nick has exhibited his artwork at venues such as the Potentialist Workshop and Sierra Arts Foundation, showcasing his talent across northern Nevada and Tahoe.

Teresa, whose art traverses from darkness to vibrant hues or vice versa, hails from El Paso, TX, where she honed her specialty in highly detailed realism within a short span of time, primarily through pencil shading but also excelling in painting, with her pieces infused with her emotions and deep affection.

Mauricio, a Native American artist, crafts unique artworks inspired by traditional native styles infused with his own creative twist. Raised in a tight-knit community, his artistic journey began with modest projects, gradually gaining momentum through word of mouth. Over time, his repertoire expanded, encompassing diverse endeavors ranging from airbrushing and automotive painting to the creation of expansive murals adorning buildings.

Bridget Grace is a whimsical multidisciplinary artist from Reno, Nevada. Blending her creative talents across various mediums, including painting, drawing, glassblowing, floral design, and sculpture. Her art style is whimsical, illustrative, and bold, drawing inspiration from fantasy and the mythical world.

Rachel, who graduated from UNR in 2022 with a BFA in graphic design, now freelances in the field. She loves experimenting with different art styles and mediums, focusing on expressive portraits and exploring the human form. Inspired by artists such as Alice Neel, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Takashi Murakami, Rachel enjoys drawing, painting, sidewalk chalk art, and digital media.

Amy, based in Wilmington, Delaware, paints with a dynamic flair, using acrylics and gel mediums to create heavily textured pieces. She employs unconventional methods like finger painting and icing piping bags, alongside brushes and palette knives, producing traditional subjects in a non-traditional style.

This will be my first time in Reno! Can't wait to explore the town and meet all the amazing artists. For me, this isn't about winning the competition, it's about pulling myself out of my comfort zone and experiencing all the new adventures that await me on the other side. Being neurodivergent, this battle is against myself, and I look forward to meeting so many amazing people throughout this journey!

Joseph, a Venezuelan artist now living in Reno since 2021, favors cartoon-style art for its playful approach to manipulating shapes and proportions. With experience in Peru, Venezuela, and collaborations with notable artists and athletes, he has showcased his digital caricatures in South Korea and the Arab Emirates. Joseph excels in both digital and traditional drawing and painting.
