Alex Torch
Alex Torch, who goes by Torch, has been creating art across various mediums throughout his life, with a particular focus on illustration and jewelry. His work often explores themes of movement, fluidity, and the scientific presence found in nature. Since June 2025, he has served as the secretary of the board for the Philadelphia Sketch Club, America’s oldest arts club. Torch enjoys planning and hosting events for artists and values connecting with his community.
Allie is a muralist and elementary art teacher who transforms walls into vibrant stories. Her work celebrates color, imagination, and community, while her teaching inspires young artists to explore their own creativity every day.
Brittany is a digital creator, painter, poet, and photographer. She blends these disciplines to express her unique artistic vision. Her work spans multiple mediums, capturing creativity through both visuals and words.
Chad is a creative professional with nearly 30 years of experience in tattooing, along with a background in music, comedy, acting, and film. He works across multiple mediums and enjoys expressing himself through different forms of art. His goal is to share his work in ways that connect with, entertain, and inspire others.
Desiree Norwood is a self-taught artist based in Philadelphia. Working primarily in acrylic, she specializes in portraiture and is expanding into mural making. Her work explores themes of love, healing, and storytelling, with a focus on the experiences of young Black youth in today’s society.
Michael has been an artist for over 30 years, creating work that explores science fiction, human subjects, and social commentary through a painterly lens. Some describe his style as grotesque, while others find it cool and compelling. He believes that beauty is a broader and more nuanced concept—one that expands when we allow it to. Based in the Tristate area, he is both a painter and illustrator, as well as an art educator.
Meet Mitch! He creates digital paintings using Procreate, works in illustration and game development, and spends a lot of time sketchbooking. He’s excited to paint alongside everyone! Fun fact: Mitch loves tests!
Rey is an illustrator, comic artist, and writer inspired by manga and comics. Drawing since childhood, Rey began seriously pursuing art in 2020. A Philadelphia art high school graduate, they’ve also taken online courses but mainly improved through independent study. Rey is soon publishing their first mini-comic, Almost 30, with updates on Instagram.
Ryanne is a school psychologist based in the Manayunk/Roxborough area. Alongside her work supporting students, art is both her hobby and passion. She enjoys exploring various mediums and styles but primarily paints with oils and acrylics and creates prints using cyanotypes.
Tina Baylor, also known as Delilah Blueness, is a versatile artist and entrepreneur—singer, songwriter, musician, poet, writer, and professional artist. Since 2009, she has owned a successful eBay business specializing in antiques and nostalgia, while also running a small computer repair business. Her creative work spans poetry recitals, spoken word comedy, and live art performances, helping her talents thrive. One of her science fiction novels is currently slated for a movie adaptation. In 2009, Tina earned third place in an American Idol contest in Florida, which boosted her confidence to share her gifts with the world.
