9AM.art is a San Francisco based abstract mixed media artist. I mostly paint abstract florals and vases. Picking up a bunch of flowers on your grocery runs or dropping a heartbeat at the sight of a beautiful vase at a thrift store- all these moments are our hidden yearnings to take them home and create a space that is our own and perfect to us. My paintings embody these beautiful moments we want to cherish in our homes. Giving a beautiful name to each vase is synonymous to living with it as an entity close to our hearts. Whether it resembles your name, or it reminds you of someone special, all my original artworks are exclusive editions with no print reproductions. Morning time after breakfast is my utmost creative rush hour, which is why the name 9AM.art. I paint without a plan, allowing the brushes to reveal hidden yearnings on the canvas. Some patrons have defined my style as Van Gogh-ish!

Cecil describes his art as lost and unaware of its own identity, much like himself. His process is instinctive, without a clear vision—more like a blind man navigating his surroundings. Much of his work is inspired by pop culture. He possesses advanced drawing skills, with a particular focus on portraiture and character design.
