Be a part of the electrifying energy as skilled artists engage in a high-speed showdown.

Regular season event winners and All-Stars from Saint John and Fredericton return for their chance to become the 2025 New Brunswick Provincial Champion and head to the Canadian National Championships in Toronto in July!
Come watch as artists transform blank canvases into beautiful pieces of art in 3 regular rounds of 20 minutes! Then help vote to determine the winner of the event!
All artwork will also be available for silent auction.

Art Battle Saint John is an All Ages event.

Artists can apply to compete. Also, most events have a ‘Wildcard’ easel, where artists leave their names at the door and we draw at random to pick the Wildcard Artist. To be a potential wildcard artist, just buy a ticket and show up!

She runs her own live art business, Emily Anne Illustrations, and draws inspiration from her 8-year-old daughter. Emily captures dynamic experiences like weddings and festivals in real-time, using ink for live sketches and exploring digital art for contactless commissions during the pandemic.

My name is Emily Anne, I am an artist living in Fredericton with the worlds best little girl and boyfriend! I provide live sketching at weddings and social events creating one of a kind portraits as party favours! I’m so excited to have a chance to compete again and to create something beautiful for you all!

Bartly Ferguson

Bartly Ferguson is a self-taught oil painter from Summerside, PEI, specializing in the wet-on-wet technique with a focus on landscapes. For over three years, he has been capturing the natural beauty of the Maritimes and the rest of Canada through his art, blending colors to create vivid, emotive scenes. A proud father of three, Bartly has showcased his work at events such as the Capital Art Sale, Art On the Bridge, and the S.T.A.R.S. Children Gala fundraiser in Fredericton, and his paintings have also been featured in local cafés.

My name is Bartly Ferguson from Summerside PEI. Im a self taught oil landscape artist for over 3 years now. A father to 3 amazing children. I have been involved in events in Fredericton such as the Capital Art Sale, Art On the Bridge, S.T.A.R.S Children Gala fundraiser for traumatized children and I've had my art displayed in the local cafes. My huge support comes from my mother Brenda, sister tracey, brother Troy and my wonderful girlfriend Laura.

Kayla Doak

Kayla is an artist and poet focused on women’s health, reproductive rights, and mental wellness. Trained in acrylic and oil, she blends painting and poetry to create safe, compassionate spaces for healing. Often described as “quirky,” her heartfelt style is inspired by her late mother and her journey as a mom. Kayla is currently developing a poetry collection to spark open conversations, alongside art projects that celebrate childhood and emotional resilience.

Hello AB fans,

I am currently focusing my energy in promoting women's health with my painting and poetry; actively seeking compassion and healing through my mental health art therapy practices.

Currently working on creating (and one day publishing) a collection of poetry that opens up safe conversations rooted in women's health and reproductive rights.

Still loving every day as a stay at home mom with my 2 beautiful daughters. Hopefully making a difference for a better future for them, by cultivating a culture of change and compassion today.

Stacy creates art in various forms, including painting and carving, with a focus on faces, nature, and the surreal. While she primarily creates for her own enjoyment, she has also taught painting classes. Stacy is a skilled 3D pumpkin carver and works with oils and acrylics for painting, as well as pumpkins and wood for carving.
