Join us in Oakland for a new Pride Edition!
Join us for an afternoon of artistic excellence as skilled artists face off in three rounds of fast-paced competition. Be there as the paint flies and help choose the ultimate winner.
Then, peruse the artwork that will be available for auction and take home your own piece of the creative action. It’s a night of community, creation, and pure artistic adrenaline.

Artists
Artists can apply to compete. Also, most events have a ‘Wildcard’ easel, where artists leave their names at the door and we draw at random to pick the Wildcard Artist. To be a potential wildcard artist, just buy a ticket and show up!

kahalla is a Queer, neurodivergent, Black and Ilokano educator, multidimensional creator, and communal archivist from the Bay Area in California. A product of both communal training and institutional investigation, kahalla’s practice includes gathering and sharing tools that allow highly sensitive creative people and historically disenfranchised BIPOC communities to retrieve Transdiasporic histories via somatic expression and Ancestral-land-based relations. /sf

Ky is a Black and Filipinx queer artist. They find inspiration through nature, bright colors and being in community with other black queer people. Ky identifies as an anti-imperialist, anti-capitalist and likes to throw azz.
I am so excited to be a part of Art Battle! I joined my first Art Battle, last month, on a whim. Although I had no idea what I was getting myself into, what I found was joy, passion, and a sense of community.
Uncle Bobby

Uncle Bobby's art has been described as a mixture between sweet and sad, which they feel is fairly accurate. They are inspired by the fact that art is life.
