Aysja is a 25-year-old visual arts painter from New Orleans, Louisiana, better known by her stage name, "The Godmother." She proudly made the switch from drawing to painting eleven years after she started. For Aysja, New Orleans-based culture is her favorite genre to paint in.

Julia loves painting in wild, vibrant colors. She mostly paints using acrylics on stretched canvas. She has also been really enjoying pottery and sculpting random clay projects. Lately, Julia has been painting a lot of animals.

Being in a crowd or having people watch me paint is probably the most nerve-wracking thing I can think of. But I learn so much every time I step out of my comfort zone.
