Kyungah paints people because she loves the stories behind them. The stories that she's read become part of her and she can transfer that into a painting. Kyungah creates portraits, landscapes, and ocean views on canvas. She specializes in traditional painting and digital art.

From the artist:

I am a mother of two children who’ve passed their teenage years.
I’ve been supporting them for 18 years and watched as they grew up as beautiful people. I believe that I can raise myself as good as
my children, so I decided to discipline myself as an artist.
Song arts - I was inspired by Korean traditional paintings- paintings made with black ink, but I painted it in oil.
Inspired by the technique of expressing light and darkness through the lightness and shade of ink, I use the oil painting to express on canvas using a technique of spreading thick or thin.
In Korean paintings, blank spaces are left on the screen and the use of color is restrained. This is part of the composition of the screen, but the left blank spaces and restrained colors stimulate the viewer's imagination.
