Artists can apply to compete. Also, most events have a ‘Wildcard’ easel, where artists leave their names at the door and we draw at random to pick the Wildcard Artist. To be a potential wildcard artist, just buy a ticket and show up!

Professional artist and 3d-animator, Max enjoys making bright, palette knife paintings. After growing up in the Ukraine, Max moved to Canada in 2013 and also makes pop art with elements of Ukrainian National Painting. /sf
Kateryna is known for creating “heavily-layered textured effects [that include] bright and mixed metallic acrylics, glitter, and gloss medium.” Her works use different medias with specific themes and meanings.
Alexander was born and raised in Edmonton and began artistry in grade 3. His work is bold and colorful with a dark view in the form of pop culture and realism. /sf

Natalie B is an artist from Edmonton that works in various mediums and styles. With a love and skill for all forms of art, she also creates one-of-a-kind furniture and art made from reclaimed materials.

Like many artists, painting makes Chelsea feel free---free to be herself again, free to dream. She is inspired by the inspiration of people and nature. Self-taught, she can do a little bit of everything in her unique pieces. She is thrilled at the chance to meet new artists and have fun doing Art Battle.
Anthony's art is photo realism, abstract and pop culture all rolled into one. He is most excited for the community and the support of the arts at Art Battle.

Jennifer is stoked to challenge herself to create in just 20 minutes. While she usually works in acrylic, she is not limited by what she can paint and can go from landscapes to abstract expression.
A three-time cancer survivor, Josh uses his knowledge of human behavior to understand humanity and show that in his anthropomorphized animals art. Super competitive, he is looking forward to this inspiring experience to highlight his whimsical, satirical, and fun" designs in this competition.
