Amanda Cheung

Amanda Cheung

Amanda is an artist and biomedical engineer who blends both fields in her practice. She brings her artistic eye into engineering, and uses engineering to expand her art. Her work is whimsical, exploratory, and sometimes intentionally silly. Her illustration style ranges from bold acrylic brushstrokes to hyper-realistic colored‑pencil details, with oil and digital work in between. She also teaches adults how to paint through fun, interactive classes, and creates biomedical sculptures and pastry‑inspired décor using digital fabrication and occasional electronics.
Gus Azevedo

Gus Azevedo

Gus is a Brazilian visual artist and game designer based in San Francisco. His work includes whimsical and dark abstract and surreal paintings in ink and acrylic, as well as digital and paper illustrations. With a background in Chemical Engineering, he began painting during the pandemic and later committed fully to art after launching his solo game project, Necromancers' Arena
Julius Rebollini

Julius Rebollini

Julius, who goes by JR, is a tattoo artist, painter, and soon‑to‑be muralist. He loves art in all forms and recently found a new passion for painting. He’s been drawing since he was a kid and is focused on growing his name further in the art industry. JR loves art, loves competition, and is excited for the experience of being more engaged in events like this.
Matt Abranches Da Silva

Matt Abranches Da Silva

I’m a San Francisco native and painter. San Francisco is often the inspiration of my work. My focus is on light and perception - how light, color, and contrast makes us view and understand things differently. My style can vary from highly abstract to landscape pieces, but light and contrast is what what brings them all together.
