Amanda is an artist and biomedical engineer who blends both fields in her practice. She brings her artistic eye into engineering, and uses engineering to expand her art. Her work is whimsical, exploratory, and sometimes intentionally silly. Her illustration style ranges from bold acrylic brushstrokes to hyper-realistic colored‑pencil details, with oil and digital work in between. She also teaches adults how to paint through fun, interactive classes, and creates biomedical sculptures and pastry‑inspired décor using digital fabrication and occasional electronics.
Gus is a Brazilian visual artist and game designer based in San Francisco. I’m a San Francisco native and painter. San Francisco is often the inspiration of my work. My focus is on light and perception - how light, color, and contrast makes us view and understand things differently. My style can vary from highly abstract to landscape pieces, but light and contrast is what what brings them all together.
